V does it again

Why, V Magazine.  Why must you insist on creating such beautiful issues???  For V61, photographer Paul Rowland has shot 19 of Supreme's top models... and they look absolutely exquisite!  At HK$160 (that's about US$20, it's one very expensive magazine.  Sigh... whatever shall I do? 

Chic and Nerdy

Just when you think the nerd chic look couldn't get any further, Penguin decides to publish three classics with brand new covers by illustrator Ruben Toledo.  It's a great update for the old covers that scream, "I'm a classic!  I'm boring!".  Maybe this will get more people reading... or pretending to read just to look smart.  Anything that can help sales is good in this recession!

Help! I'm Melting!

Another super hot day in Hong Kong calls for another denim shorts outfit.  Are you sick of it yet?  I'm not!  hahaha!

Honestly, Timberlands are so. much. better. than doc martens.  No break in time necessary, super comfy, and... WATERPROOF!  I haven't worn them out in heavy rain yet, so we'll have to wait and see how that works out.

The best part of today was walking around Central and taking photos with my sister's new Lubitel.  It takes quite a bit of patience due to it's being a fully manual film camera though...

Super Nerd

Uh oh.  It looks like someone has been very lazy at updating.  So what have I been doing?  Well, the answer is... nothing.  Some say that summer before university/college is always the best, and it is true.  No SAT prep, no university research, no trying to get ahead by reading next year's textbook...  There.  I admit it, I am a true nerd at heart.  I normally wear contacts, but if I'm feeling lazy or uh, nerding out, I wear my glasses.  

I decided to go for something different, so instead of the usual wire frames, I went for the big, thick, plastic frames this time.  My dad says I look like 小雲 from this cartoon I used to watch when I was little... SIGH

Graduation

Apologies for not updating for so long, but graduating from high school apparently takes an entire week!  I don't have too many blog appropriate photos from prom, commencement etc, but I did take a photo of my prom dress.  It's from Betsey Johnson's prom themed collection, and I think it was perfect for my personality.  I'm never really one to get sentimental, so I won't get into the whole omg-I-can't-beleive-I'm-graduating speech.  I'm gonna be leaving for Dublin to study medicine soon, so if you've been there, tell me what it's like!

Meow

I was planning to go to the art store to get paper today, but nature just had to work against me, and it started to pour right after I left home.  :(  There isn't too much to say about the outfit today, except for the necklace.  It opens up to reveal a mirror!  Totally genius.

I can't believe it's only Thursday... time passes by so slowly at the beginning of the holidays

Hellooo Summer!

I am finally done my exams!  Now I'm just waiting for prom and graduation before I leave high school forever.  It was incredibly hot out today, so I had to do with a very simple outfit...  

The skirt is from FCUK.... super versatile.  I love the buttons the most :)  

You know you have to clean your camera lens when this happens... ><
